is their a gracious admin out there that could change my handle to orion? i changed this a while back, and im tired of just havin to put Orion in my sig line ;)
 
Let me take this one Lethal. :)

Admins don't take requests to change names unless they feel its nescessary to do so. They usually ignore requests sent by PM, so don't waist your time doing that. Only way to change your name is get a new account.
 
Bah, I want to change my name too. I started posting in the forums to post a question nothing more, so I chose a crap username. I want to change mine to something cooler! I wanted saturnine but it was taken, I wanna switch! I plan to be here for a while, this is the best hardware forum I have seen yet.
 
This is correct with the exception of we do return all PM's and you have to close your existing account and start a new one, otherwise you face being banned for having two active accounts which is against the forum rules.

Hey MajorDomo,

I had to start a new account to get a new username. However, I am still waiting for the verfication email to come. I signed up yesterday. I will deleted this account as soon as I receive the activation email for my new account registered under NarSaw. Can you help get that email to me?

It's not an unreasonable rule as well. If you have a reason to change it, then you'll probably be able to to. Example: a user here used to go by something usually considered demonic, and everyone would question it. By changing it, it makes the forum a happier place. :D

Sorry, no, you're starting over with a fresh account. ;)

I've de-activated your old account, you don't have the power to do that yourself.
 
Looks like Lethal has already de-activated the account and just for the record, members cannot delete their own accounts....the Admins are kinda funny about being control freaks like that :D

We make it a hassle to change your own account name for a purpose and to pay a price for the change....if not, the admins would not get anything else done but change user names...been there done that ;)

.....looks like Lethal was working in the background while I was posting :p
