This is my wish list but Im still in need of some things and would like your help figuring out what I should get

Qpack

BFG 7800 GTX

AMD X2 4400

I would look at the opty just not sure what one is equal to the 4400

This fan

Now I still need a mobo, I dont plan on overclocking but if I do it will be real small, onboard sound is fine.

I also need good ram, 2gigs

Sense I was planing on the window qpack Id like a nice looking but good power supply, something that would be clean to when it comes to the wires.

Not sure what else I need but any feedback would be great. Thanks

I should have stated that my max that I want to spend is $3k but if I could keep it under that would be great. Please recommend anything that might be worth checking out instead of what I have already listed. Thanks

3k is a ridiculously humongous budget. u can build a top of the line comp for like < 1.5k

i mean, just look at ur cart right now. 7800gtx = what, 450? (get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130254 instead of the bfg one, that ones like $100 extra and its just bundled w/ cod2, which im pretty sure costs less than $100) cpu is 500, case psu and mobo i'll b generous and round up to 100 each, and round the ram to 200. thats roughly 1.5k even after tax cuz i rounded up so much on things.

in conclusion: save your money, spending $3k on a comp just cuz u have it isnt worth it. you could get a nice lcd monitor w/ some of the extra money too if u need one, but it'll still total less than 3k unless ur gonna get like the new dell 30" lcd monitor.

I believe the 175 Opty has the same speed and L2 cache size as the 4400. I'm not absolutely certain of things when overclocking is involved though.

Thanks was just looking at that, getting the qpack I want this thing as quiet as possible. What headsink and fans should I get? Thanks

i think it's too big for a qpack, ultra psu's are even bigger than the standard atx size.

you might want to look at the zalman 7700 instead of the 7000, has a 120mm fan vs 90, performs better at same loudness or quieter.
