I did it with a touchpad so don't bitch about quality. Also the tubing after the tline is a little wierd, but I'll make it nice in RL. Anyway am I on the right track?
 
should be fine but since it's just CPU, connect the pump outlet to the rad, then rad to the CPU inlet
 
If I were you, I'd put the fan on the other side of the radiator, pulling air through it. The TDX would probalby be a better block for you.
 
Yep, have the fan draw air from the case across the rad and blow out than blowing in as you will be blowing warm air from the rad into the case. Have to remember the amount of air coming in as out to create equal pressure. If you can, I would recommend putting the rad/fans at the bottom so that the fan will be pulling in cooler air from the below the case than from the case itself. Some components can be hot and so with the rad/fans on top, you will be pulling warm case air to cool the rad. However, that is still better than blowing warm rad air back into the case (the way you have it).
 
Thanks for the suggestions-so the fan should be put on the bottom of the rad, blowing air into it-correct?

I think the suggestion here was to mount the rad and the fan on the bottom of the case, with the rad on the floor of the case and the fan on the rad. That way you could suck cool air through the rad. It would draw warm air into the case (since passing through the rad would heat the air a bit), but would be the best way to cool down the rad. If you have good air flow out of your case via top or rear exhaust, this is a good option.
 
How would I go about mounting it in the bottom?

The problem is that I'm going to be mounting a Zalman 7000b on my 7900gt which is going to leave very little space at the bottom...remember this is a itsy bitsy mid tower we're working with here

I'm going to make a revised paint-chop, now I'm on a rig with a mouse too :p
 
If there's room to mount it on the bottom, you'd have to cut a hole for the air to flow through and drill holes to screw the rad to the bottom of the case (or use standoffs). Then, screw the fan onto the rad and you're good to go. But if you go this route, you'll have to make sure there's some space between the bottom of the case and whatever it sits on to allow airflow, and I would also suggest some type of dust filter between where the bottom of the case used to be and the rad.
 
Since I recently measured the distance between the bottom of the case and the bottom of the video card, I can tell yoou my problem and see if it fits with you. I have a 7950x2 that occupies 2 slots, the PCIe slot and the pci slot below it. I have a thermochill he120.2 which is one of the thickest radiator there is. This combined with the low noise panaflo fan which is 1.5in thick (about 0.5 thicker than most 120mm fans), was just too high to mount the rad and fans on the bottom. With the video card, the rad/fans needed about 1/8th of inch to clear it.
So, if the Zalman 7000b with the 7900th occupies about the same amount of space as my 7950x2 then you need to know the depth of your fans (should be around 1inch) and the radiator. The BIP radiators are thinner and with the 1in deep fans should clear the 7900gt and the Zalman.
Alternatively, if you don't have the room but want the advantage of mounting the radiator at the bottom and your case has feet/wheels that are put the bottom of your case 1.5in from the ground, you can mount the radiator on the bottom, outside of the case. Install the fans inside the case to suck in air through the radiator. Just install the filters on the radiator so that dust will not get sucked in and get stuck on the radiator.

You also might be able to mount the rad setup farther forward (depending on how deep your case is) if you move hard drives out of the bottom few bays.

The problem is I have fans mounted right above the hard drives that help cool down the MOFSET on both the mobo and the 7900gt
 
I'm building a watercooled setup as well.. but I was wondering if this technique would work for mounting the radiator on top, having the fans inside the case sucking in. (the metal of the case is inbetween the two cut out so the air flows thru. It would look like this..

Senario 1:

[======RADIATOR=======]
============================= <-- top panel of case
[----120mm-----] [-----120mm----]

Air is flowing downward into the case. Would it be sucking enough air thru the radiator, or would I need to mount it like this....

Senario 2:

[----120mm-----] [-----120mm----]
============================= <-- top panel of case
[======RADIATOR=======]

or....

Senario 3:

[----120mm-----] [-----120mm----]
[======RADIATOR=======]
============================= <-- top panel of case

Basically, all the air would be flowing inward to the case so I got the coldest air from outside the case. Which would be the best setup? I really like senario 1 and want to use that, but would it work as well as the others?
