My PSU Voltages ??

On my asus motherboard i get 11.98V for my 12V and 5.06 for my 5volt. When I test it with a multimeter I get 5.16 for my 5v and 12.16 for my 12V. I hate to ask such a dumb question but if it is just slightly over the voltage can this cause any damage ?
