I recently purchased some Kingston HyperX PC4000... I sold my 3200 and decided to grab a stick of 512 of this stuff. With my 3200 I could get 420FSB stable for 24+ hours in prime, anything above wasnt. With my 4000, prime failed at 418FSB after 2 hours. What gives? Should I pump more voltage into it? Im doing 2.7 right now and 1.675 on cpu.

Yes, try increasing the ram voltage. The higher speed rams need more juice.

To 2.8? I got the impression ram wouldnt last very long with high voltage. Is 2.8 safe for my ram?
