My Outlook Express is really acting wierd

Hi guys,

For some unknown reason, every time I either send or try to retrieve an e-mail, my internet connection keeps dropping. Is there anything I can do to stop it?

Tools, Options
Go to the "Connection Tab"
Uncheck Hang up after sending and receiving.
