So I just upgraded from an Intel to an AMD look at my old POS compared to new goodness.

Do you think I will get better performance in games?

...

Of course it will run better in games. Not only is AMD better with games, you just spent a shitload of money on new technology. So yes.

It will demolish the Intel in gaming. I mean you're moving from outdated technology (We're talking either Willamette or Northwood, I'm not too sure on the clock speeds of the Willamette, I don't care enough to memorize them) to brand new technology. There's no comparison. The performance gain will be exponential.

You can't even compare those systems. The processor of the P4 is clocked lower than that wicked Venice you just picked up.
