So here's the deal. Recently, I just quit working at the RMA department of a computer store. Before I left, someone brought a perfectly good (at the time) MX duo from logitech in. I tested it and it worked fine. His complaint was that the batteries on the mouse didn't charge correctly. So I bought the item for a reduced price. So I got it home, keyboard works fine. The batteries don't charge though. So I swap them out for some other NimH batteries I have. It got so hot when I attempted to charge it, the outside cover for the batteries melted off. So I guess my issue is I want to RMA this mouse. Does it count as damage if I replaced the original batteries? Cause I know they won't RMA damaged stuff. Any suggestions here would be helpful. Thanks.
