my LX 700 going bad?

got this logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo. lx 700 I think it was. I love the keyboard. think its the standard keyboard for all the wireless logitech combos. anyway, the mouse is always doing wierd stuff. it doesnt say the batteries are low. It will act like its out of range, like studer. anoying when playing CS:S. the charger/wireless thing (dont know what to call it) is about 2-3 feet up on a shelf. not to far. could it be my computer? interferance? bad wiring? out of range? might switch to wired mouse if I can get a remote for my descaler (pvr 150) and dvd player. how do remotes work? you just program them or what?
 
haha i have the same duo, i use my MX510 cause the mouse that came with the duo, first wont charge on docking station, and second it wont use the program i give it, as in back and forth in wed pages, wont do anything, so i just left it alone, and use MX510 :p keyboard is bad ass, so i feel good about it working
