Hey all, this is my first time bacl in the forum for about a week. Last Sunday I ventured into the world of ddr:cpu ratios on the mobo, and ended up getting a number like 480mzhz or something. never booted, so tryed clearing the cmos, and the computer turned on and all, but no video output. I spent one whole week of my life crying over the fact I broke my computer, and wasn't able to do anythign at all. No saturday morning, I knew that there was going to be something wrong that was easily fixed, and spent the last two or 3 hours figuring out what it was. Well after a good amount of mobo battery switching in and out, and testing different hardware, I switched out the jumper for jp 1 or something( the cmos one), and fiddled it around for a bit, and out of the blue, BAM! I saw the loading screen and was so overjoyed that the first thing I would do with my troubleshooted computer was tell all you [H]'ers about the worst week in my life.
 
Mate, if living without your PC was the worst week of your life, you have a lot of living to do :p
 
dude, you cleared the CMOS and didn't put the jumper setting back... that took you a week to figure out... you should have gotten ahold of another comp and asked for help on here. Good thing you got it going though.

lol, yeah..this has to be one of the funniest things i've ever heard :)
 
yep :) , the weird thing is the two other mobo's I got don't work, so I couldn't figure out if the thing was working or not, oy. Now my noly problemo is game freezing whenever I try to play one, errr.
