I have just set up my first water cooling - bit pissed at mo typing this (lol im cool etc).well i got everything setup but my temps take arent watercool low "etc" i think i have put way too much coolant into my water loop but im not too sure. My temps arent very low and once im at low temps it wil ltake quite a long time to my temps to go down to ambient temp etc

Uhhm....

Pics? (ESPECIALLY)

What's your loop... Rad? Pump? Blocks? Fans?

CPU?

Temps?

Water to Coolant ratio?

Type of Coolant?

Anything?

Is that a bottle of dye or is it actually a premixed coolant? How's your flow? Your block might be clogged.

You are using waaaaaaay too much additive. It also appears that the tubing on the cpu block is pinched causing a serious flow restriction. Also a larger picture showing all you tubing would be helpful. Extra chemical also hurts your temps and that additive is famous for separating causing clogging issues.

Chemicals:

99.?% distilled water
1-2 oz antifreeze
4-5 drops of Povidone Iodine or Aquarium Algaecide (follow label directions)

yep think i just discovered the seperating issue lol ive emptied the loop and refilled it with just distilled water until i get some more coolant. The pipe wasnt pinched it was just the way the pic was angled seems temps have gone down a bit still not as low as i expected tho. 49C at 2.7ghz @ 1.5v.
ive had enough messin around with it for today far too ill

Starting to lose the will to live. I've been trying to get this thing running properly all day still no luck. I've bled the system, redone the tubing turned the case upside down shook it anything i can think of.
believe ive narrowed it down to air in the radiator that just won't come out no matter what i do. Its not the block i've checked that too mounting is fine as the water is heating up but it isnt being cooled down. It becomes very warm to the touch.
When i start Orthos the temp will jump to 44C then steadily work its way up to 60C also its taking ages to get back down to normal idle temps, so im pretty sure its the radiator i just have no idea how to get the air out of the fking thing

if it's air... unmount the radiator and move it around ALOT... Make the exit barb (the one going to your CPU) at the lowest point in your loop...

So, I'm taking, detach it and move it down to the PCI plate level, then move it around alot.

Also, what fan do you have on that rad? I'm guessing that's the swiftech MCR120 radiator... right?

yeah it is, ill give that a try after my dinner cheers for help!
also its the Swiftech H20-120 Premium im just wondering what tubing i have to get for it because ive looked lots of places and ive got a lot of conflicting info.
thanks
