Hello all,
This is going to be my first attempt at overclocking. My system specs are below. Currently the default configuration on my 2200+ is 13.5*133=1800mhz. I'm aiming to OC to about 2000mhz. I'm thinking that since my ram is pc2700 and running at 166mhz it would be best to get my FSB up to 166 so I can have a 1:1 to ratio. I'm thinking something like 12*166=1992mhz. What do you guys think about this? Running at 166mhz would keep the PCI/AGP at 33/66mhz respectively correct? I'm planning on lowering the multiplier by .5 each time until I get down to 12. Then I'm going to bump up the FSB by single increments until I can safely get to 166. Is this all I need to do? Please let me know if theres anything I' missing. Thanks in advance and sorry for the n00bness on this subject.
