After years of getting larger and larger and larger case I have finally seen the light and am going for a smaller system (the old large ones will do their job in another room as media servers).
It's not exactly SFF but it's a micro-atx based system so I'm posting here.
Case: Silverstone TJ-08
MB: Asus P5B-VM
CPU: E 6700
Memory : 2Gb Adata DDR2-6400 (SPD settings for 1.8V) or Corsair PC-6400 (SPD settings for 1.9V)
HD: WD500KS
Graphics: any GF8800GTX (thank you silverstone for a nice case layout that allows this baby to fit ... my own photoshop experiment showed it would fit and silverstone confirmed by email that there is 2cm (a little bet less then an inch) room to spare)
PSU: Seasonic S-12 600 W ... I looked at the M-12 but I don't like the small 60 mm fan and the fact that it keeps running once it kicked in.
CPU cooler: Thermalright XP120
And it's this last one I'm worried about ... photoshop mockup has it fitting but very very tight ...
Is there anyone out there that has a TJ-08 and a asus P5B-VM with this cooler on it ?
If it doesn't fit I'm going for it's smaller brother the XP-90.
If you guys have any other remarks/suggestions .. please feel free.
