Well, technicaly this is the third modded case I've produced, but this is the first one I'd be willing to show off, being that I built it for somone else. It's what I call a "Totaly Modded" case. The hardware inside is absolutely nothing special at all and not worth listing (I chose it solely for the blue motherboard) I'm waiting for an orange UV-reactive Chaintech motherboard in a socket 939 configuration.

I completed this case about 3 months ago, and the reason I'm posting now is because my second "total mod" case is being finished today, and I figured if I'd post pics of one, I should wait and post pics of the other. The pics will be up in a day or two.

My next "total mod" case planned after that is a watercooled acrylic case.
 
Both of these cases look good. I am forced, however, to ask why you have your drives poking out of the front of your case by what looks like about half of an inch.

Just curious...

The reason is that I started with this case

and I had to cut a hole in the front for the 120.

Basicly, I'm afraid to cut the plexi bezel, so I havn't yet. The plexi covers up the drives sticking out.

I see. I'm not sure I would want to cut that plastic either. I would send it to a waterjet facility, if i were you. They can cut it nice and clean and (relatively) safely. In any case, that is what they do for a living, so I think they could pull it off.

If you are bent on doing it yourself, I would suggest covering the surface with masking tape before you start cutting. That can alleviate some of the pressure of the blade and prevent some cracks. It also helps to prevent your blade from binding up on the plastic.

I had it one-off custom made. As far as I know I have the only one. It is handpainted
 
Great job on both. Though I hate with a passion the combo of Blue and Orange. Stems from a rivel highschool team's colors. I have issues I know. :p Dang you to heck Timpview....to heck! :mad:

It is specifically made for housing computer parts, but I suppose you could store your darning needles in it if you want.

It is an America Media Systems case, or better known as an AMS Gmono. :D They also come in white, or black with a side window.

I absolutely LOVE that rear double-fan grill. That is frickin' sweet, although I'd rather have a blue one, but that's just 'cause blue is my favorite color. Black would be sweet as well. Red works, though :p
 
where'd you get that double fan grill, anyways? did you make it? no... far too complex.

Good eye. Yep, I contacted Bonz to create my two signature grilles. I think he did a pretty good jub, don't you.

what PSU is that? sleeving looks really cool.. and you have to work on your cutting skills - the front intake cut doesn't look very clean.. otherwise.. prety cool..
 
Yeah, the front cut is kinda poor. But I still have the metal piece that goes in front of the plastic piece that's all chewed up, so I still have the chance to do a good laser or waterjet cutting with that piece.


The PSU is a PowMax 500W unit. A little too loud for me, unfortunately.
