hey all! I'm new around but I'm going to be getting a ATI 9700pro and was wondering if there's anything I should look at to get it to run Doom 3 the best it can? I'm on a medium system (AMD 2500+ and 512MB ram). Any tips would be appreciated!!

From what I've been able to divine from the charred remains of all the flames around here is that you should be good to go for medium settings at or below 1024X768 ... up your system memory to a gig and you might be able to eek out 1280X1024

Your 9700pro will run it fine. You actually be able to get High Settings, but your CPU and ram may hold you back. Start low on resolutions and work your way up with AA off, then work up on the AA at the resolution you chose, and that should help you out.
