My noisetaker died within the warranty period. So I call the number on their web site - multiple times. Same thing each time. No one is availale to take your call. Recording goes on to say leave a messsage. So I leave a message. No one calls back. Not impressed.

Well, technically the same thing can be said for all the good power supply companies. They all have duds. Are you trying to call today? It's saturday, I've never been able to get ahold of anybody on a saturday. Try their website for an RMA?

Try RMA'ing through the dealer who sold it to you.

And yes, I don't like Enermax customer service either, OCZ PWNS customer service.

Dave ;)

Whilst I respect the frustration with customer service and your inclination to avoid a company that is not providing expected after sales service, to write posts telling people in the title to avoid Enermax seems a little "off" to me.

My Enermax 431W has been running various socket A motherboards for the past 4 years, and has always been perfect. At this point in time, I'm evaluating a suitable PSU for a A64 setup based upon a DFI motherboard and the Enermax 535W SLI is looking the part.

Lastly, I concur with davidhammock200 - if your dealer is extra helpful they will help with the RMA (and generally have better communication links with suppliers so can get things done quicker).

Been trying to get a hold of the rma dept for a couple weeks now.

Just sharing the fact that if something ever does happen, getting warranty serivce from this company appears hit and miss. Others may have had good experience, mine has been poor.

A lot of places will be closed from 12/23 to tomorrow. This is because of X-mas, New Years and CES. The back log is going to be crazy for the next couple weeks.

Make sure when you leave a message you say, "My name is X. I bought an Enermax Y from dealer Z on 1/1/2000. It had been working for W number of monthes and has recently failed. I would like to obtain a replacement. Please call me at VVV-VVV-VVVV."

Speak clearly as the person on the receiving end may not enjoy English as their first language.

Fair enough. I'll reserve judgement and give them another try next week.

Be careful with trying to contact companies like that around the holidays. I work for a major semiconductor company and generally we start shutdown around the beginning of Dec. and dont start back up until the first or second week of Jan. Just depends on the companies scheduling, remember its a big company and they more than likely receive alot of calls from people all the time. If it take a short while, barring holidays, then deal with it. You money is greatly appreciated by them along with your patience. I guarantee that once you do get ahold of someone, when they all get back from vacation, they will have the problem resolved quickly and efficiently. At that point I would repost with a "eating crow" style post.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble.

I'm getting fantastic Warranty support for my previous Enermax EG565P-VE FMA. For some reason the fans were running even when not connected to the motherboard, so something went even though my computer worked. More noise out of the rear fan as well.

First I went to EnermaxUsa.com (MAXPOINT) and had started through the warranty process, but by email instead of phone. Turns out however, there are two distributors and warranty support companies in the USA. The other one is www.coolergiant.com, and after Maxpoint saw a copy of my receipt that showed the vendor, they directed me to Coolergiant.com. I was expecting the run around, but Coolergiant was awesome.

No only did they give me an RMA, they are also allowing me to upgrade to a Liberty ELT620AWT for just the difference in cost, and get this for the original price I paid from my vendor (I didn't get the $84.00 deal off of Newegg.com, so while I paid more for my EG565 from my local vendor than I should have, I'm only paying $35.00 for the Liberty, amazing!)

So I hope that your warranty experience improves, but mine has been fantastic and better than expected.
