Is this a Crappy card and i have it iverclocked using the overdrive it comes with . can i overclock it more to get better frames? Should I ? i haveonly had the card for 10 months and kinda feel dumb cause i coulda gotten a pro but i heard from a few people that a 9600xt overclocked is equal to a stock 9800 pro is that true?

no, its half the bits and half the pipes- it will always have half the performance. I too once was faced with a ~150$ card, but i just saved up and for a 9800 pro, hehe you shoulda waited a bit.

i have a 9600pro. plays doom 3 fine and hl2 im sure it will run better than doom 3 ( i get 30fps average in doom 3 at 1024x768 on high detail with all effects turned on) and yours is alitle faster, just keep it till you can afford something better. Wait till next gen cards (like 512 mb cards) then buy something thats newest gen right now...

With my processor overclocked and running at 3200+ speeds and a 9600xt doom3 runs perfect at 640x480. I haven't tried 800x600 yet. Doom3 looks just fine at 640x480 though.
