Well here is my first computer i've built. I want to thank the Hard Forum and the users for their help. Any opinions or suggestions do help too, so don't be afraid to say something i should do or not do.

My computer consists of the following:

Very nice. I too just finished building my first computer, with some help/suggestions from the [H]ard Forums and their users. Congrats on the new comp, and thanks goes to the [H]ard forum
 
Nice dude, I plan on making my own custom comp. BTW, how is the cooling in that Tsunami? I plan on making my computer out of that too :D
 
Well i finally got the right program to use to watch the temps. Currently my CPU idles at about 35C, PWM IC 35C, and System at 28C, so i'm assuming that the case is running at 28C. I love the case, it looks great, although the fans are kind of loud. I need to find another fan setup to quiet it down.
 
one thing to do that would greatly improve the look (having a window and all) would be to paint the inside black. but this is fairly major unless you like stripping your machine and running it on a bench for a few days while the layers of paint dry...it does make blue lighting look really nice though

Great start. My first computer I built was a Pentium 150MHz, and it was pretty dirty on the inside, as far as the wiring goes. In those days, it was considered elite to just be able to get one put together on your own. None of this wire routing stuff, or lights, and certainly no case windows. :)

Does the video card look crooked to anyone? It looks lower towards the front of the case than it does in the back. Is something weighing it down, or do you think this is a result of camera warping? (Camera lenses warp pictures slightly, so for example if you took a picture of buildings, they aren't quite straight, and it's almost like a miniature fish-eye lens effect.)
 
I noticed that earlier. It may be the locking mechanism on the case. It just has a clip that locks the card into the slot on the back. Other then that, the only thing holding it up is the motherboard AGP slot. Also the card is large and heavy. That has to take in consideration for the slight sag.

Lol i was gonna suggest that exact thing when i opened up the thread. "next stop: cable management". cleans up nice. Awesome build and great that you took the leap of faith. I remember my first true build. it was an AMDK6-233 MMX. My dad and I did it as a project many years ago. neither of us knew what we were doing, (lol we didn't know the k6 was a different socket than a 486. we learned fairly quick, and were able to sell some unusual shaped cases we had to a local pc shop for pretty good amount of money, enough for us to buy the mobo. guess we did something right cuz it was an either an asus or abit mobo. ahhhh the good old days of fighting hardware, finding drivers on the "newfangled dial-up internet", and don't get me started on that 2x Mitsumi CD drive UGH!!

Yea i tried to clean up as much as possible. The Huge IDE cables supplied with the mobo are very hard to keep out of the way. They don't like to bend that much. The PSU i think has about a million wires coming out of it. The only bad thing about this case is you can't tuck the wires behind the mobo tray, why you ask? Cause it doesn't have a mobo tray! heh. Fans are a bit loud too. I thought about going to liquid cooling and get the Big Water Kit by Thermaltake. But it doesn't offer GPU cooling with it, only CPU. I don't want to spend a fortune because i'm getting ready to buy a Audigy2 ZS sound card and Logitech Z-680 speakers. Does anyone know of a kit or if i should piece together a cooling kit? Suggestions would help me out alot, because i'm not that familiar with WC.

rogue_jedi: I love the design of the case, the wave of the front is awesome and the 2 leds lights that are hidden are a nice touch. The case was so easy to work with, the toolless design makes it alot easier to swap out parts. The drive rails they have is the greatest invention since sliced bread. Well crafted and durable. Only thing is that no mobo tray deal. Cooling is great in this thing, but a little loud.

Anyone have a Tsunami liquid cooled? Or know of a website that has pictures of them, or maybe something that tells the best kits for them. If you know of some please list them along with your Tsunami case.
 
Hey i got an update on my computer, just received my new Audigy 2 ZS sound card, now i'm waiting for DHL to get my Logitech Z-5500 speakers to me so I can plan some kick ass music through them. I'm also thinking about water cooling my case. Any ideas on what i should use to do this. I want to cool my CPU and GPU. What brands to use and what pieces should i buy? Or just a kit? Don't know how much you can get them for, i was thinking maybe 150 or so? Not really sure.
