MX700 not working...blinking light

Hey guys,

my mx700 duo isn't very old maybe like 5 months or so, just enough to avoid warrenty. Anyways, my mouse won't charge and the batterys keep going dead causing me to have to replace them every 3 days or so. My question is, at first I thought it was my charger. but my friend has the same mouse combo so he put his on mine and it sat and charged working fine. However, when I put my mouse on his charger the red light started blinking just as it does when its on mine. Therefore, I believe it to be the mouse, is there anyway of cleaning it so that I can fix this? I really hate going back to the current cord optical mouse I'm using now.

Thank you!

replace the batteries

my did the same thing, i went and got some rayovac rechargeables (4 pack for uner $10) and it works correctly now.

Isn't the warrenty longer than 5 months? I purchased a 700 when they first came out, and I had mine replaced for free by Logitech last November.

Just went out and bought a set of rechargeables, works like a charm now. I feel so silly ;)
