I was wondering if I could replace the "stock" ones with my own rechargable ones and still have them charge with the mouse charger...?
 
It says on the battery cover that you have to replace them with NiMH 1500-1900. So I'd make sure your batteries meet that.
 
I've been using some 2400 mAH's -- for almost a year now. They work great. I barely ever need to charge the thing.
