MX 700 > MS Wirless Explorer?

I bought a MS Intellipoint Explorer just a bit ago and started noticing a bit of wake-up time and I'll be scrolling along a page and it'll stop all of sudden cause i'm not moving the pointer so it goes into saving mode.

So i'm thinking of taking it back and getting a MX 700 since I know it seems to be a forum favorite. Any problems with the MX 700?
 
Well if those things happen with the MX700, I'm not noticing them.

I honestly don't notice any difference between this and the wired mice I've used.
 
You couldn't pry my MX700 out of my cold, dead fingers. :p

I'd say go for it, like he said, I can't tell a difference between it and any wired mouse. It's awesome.
 
and I have not noticed what you speak of. I am, however lefty and dont use it for gaming( I surf right handed) If your a right handed gamer there is no faster mouse than the mx700 from what I understand.


The thing I like about the MS mouse the most is the tilt scroll wheel. Its excellent for side scrolling.
