I have 512 of PC3500 mushkin lvl 2 , I'm just wondering how far of an OC I should be looking for. I can't get past 214fsb right now , and I know the ram is rated at higher speeds stock. my vdimm is currently at 2.8 , and will max at 2.9. My timmings are currently 2.2.2.11. I've gotten to 220FSB when I put my timmings at 2.5.2.2.11 and cranked the vdimm to 2.9. Is this about as far as I can push my memmory? I want to keep the tightest timmings as possible.

that cant be right unless you got a bad stick of memory. I have never seen a mushkin stick that can't do 450mhz 2-3-2-5. I did have a friend that had a bad stick though, he called mushkin and had a rma number in 10 seconds. run memtest, it may have errors and be unstable. I used to have a pc3200 stick that wouldn't oc for crap, I ran memtest and it came up with tons of errors.

If it's an Intel system you probably need to set RAS/CAS to 3, otherwise it sounds defective.

You need to do some volt-mods on your board. Mushkin loves higher voltage.
