MSI Mega 180 setup... want input

I am currently in taiwan and saw last week the MSI Mega 180 barebones. It looks appealing, to be hooked to our television and serve as a stereo/multimedia system. (it will serve no other purpose other than mp3 and movies viewed through the tv.)


here is what i'm thinking of getting...



MSI Mega 180 (AMD based system)

AMD Athlon XP 2000 (2.08ghtz)

512MB DDR333 (i have spare at home)

2 maxtor 200gig hdd's put in external cases (i have 150gigs of mp3's roughly so yes, space justified and my wife likes downloading chinese programs that often times are 50cd's long)

Sony DVD+-RW external drive

100gig drive for internal/OS use (my spare drive at home)

will this be decent....? I imagine it would but i no little about the 180 past Tom's Hardware review.. (noone mentions what type of hdd interface it has, so i'm assumeing IDE)

anyone have this Mega 180?

Seems like agood system but before i drop down this much cash.. i wanted at least a few opinions.
