The crew at TestFreaks have the MSI Interceptor Series Nighthawk case on the test bench today for a little review action. Overall it is a very positive review and the Nighthawk earned very high marks. Here's a quote from the review:

Today for review I have the Interceptor Series Nighthawk ATX Mid Tower PC case from MSI. The case is a bit small, but it still has plenty of room for even the largest of video cards along with room for several hard drives and more. The case features tool-less installation, three fans pre-installed including a 200mm sized one on the side. The Nighthawk also with a built-in card reader, that reads pretty much everything, to make your life a bit easier.

Retry Msi this is a horrible, ugly, steel and plastic case, with no innovation.

I guess MSI thinks they can make more money marketing their cases towards normal users who want "cool" cases. Well, news flash, they are too busy playing Call of Duty on Xbox 360/PS3 and swearing at people on voice chat, to buy a PC!

Lol This.

Ugh, another case like an Antec chassis, with FA for filters on the front or the side.

I hate having to click thru the front page of HardOCP when I run accross one of these articals.

And yes I hate the trend in modern cases to making them all plastic clad monsters.

Hey guys - we greatly appreciate your feedback. This is just the first of many cases we plan to launch and this was more geared towards the mainstream/enthusiast user.

MSI case philosophy is to start and focus on bringing back the "Xbox/Ps3" user back to PC building and these easy to use design will help us. We're going to be using these cases to educate users on how easy it is to build a PC and to hopefully inspire a new generation of users to try it out. Sometimes in order to reach this new generation, we make something fairly simple and useful (hence free card reader for multimedia use). We're planning on doing events around North America to teach high school and college kids why they should be getting into PC building, and we'll slowly help them mature into enthusiasts.

Speaking of which, we do have enthusiast models coming out in the near future that will be sure to better suit your needs as an extreme/advanced user. We showed it off privately at CES to great feedback and look forward to getting more info out there in the near future.

As for the Honda naming - we didn't take it from that, we took it from the Military theme (Interceptor is considered armor...case could be considered armor .. etc. etc.) :)

What is with websites doing "reviews" that dont show any pertinent information? saying "keeps things cool" is about as helpful as tits on a bull.
