So I'm going to be upgrading here real shortly and I was looking at 670s. But now I see this

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemNumber=N82E16814127732

And it looks pretty tasty. Unfortunately, I haven't found any reliable word on it yet. Anyone have this card and know anything? Always been nvidia so I don't know much of amd cards. Looking to go 1440p so the extra vram and bandwidth looks nice.

the MSI HD 7970 TF OC BE runs at 1050 mhz core. memory is 5.5 ghz compared to 6 ghz on HD 7970 Ghz. but its known that bandwidth isn't a problem on HD 7970. so basically HD 7970 Ghz performance at USD 410. excellent card. reference HD 7970 PCB. unlocked voltage. good twin frozr cooler. you can see the card in the post below

the only thing which i would advise is to reapply TIM as its poorly applied (too much) at the factory. use a high quality TIM like prolimatech pk-1. if you do that your core temps should be below 75c even with overclocking to 1.2 Ghz. here is a user giving positive feedback on the card.

What are you saying? TF its one of the best cooler.. More yet the TFiV and TFV.. Your problem its not the cooler of the card... The problem its the Xfire setup... Its well know that almost ALL AMD cards in Xfire just run hot as hell just for not reasong and just idling.. ... More even in 3Xfire and multi-monitor solutions with different refresh rates and resolutions.. ... Any card with any cooler you put on Xfire will just run LOT hotter... Thats why most ppl that make SLI/Xfire put lot of high RPM fans near the GPU's or directly make it run on water...

its the paste i just opened up all the cards and redid the past and right now all cards are under 80c
