im trying to play Sim City 4. I play quake and everything is fine with this card. In Sim City 4 the screen will scramble and not draw the images properly. i am using driver 6.1.77 and everything seems to be updated along with the game. any ideas?

Since it works fine in Quake and I know that card can handle sim4 (I had that MSI one myself not too long ago), I would say it's an issue with the game. You can try a different driver, make sure your BIOS settings are correct, and in a last resort, reinstall the game.

I believe I have read on a few other forums that the 61.77 drivers had problems with Sim City 4 coupled with a GF FX series card. Roll back to the 56.72's and see if that clears your problem up. Then I would wait until Nvidia's next official driver release to see if the problem is fixed.

The new beta 66.XX drivers and newer also fix this problem.

All the drivers between 56.72 - 65.XX don't work properly with SC4 though.
