Hi there, I've never had an lcd before but my roommate is offering to sell me his new lcd for cheap when his old one comes back. It's a Sceptre 19inch Komodo VIIA. It's rated at .12ms according to their site. Is this decent enough for gaming ? I know nothing about lcds..besides that they look sexy that is :D

12ms should be good for non-hardcore gamers, how much is he selling it for?
 
I'm not sure how much yet. He bought it for $260 last night or so. He was planning on returning it when his $500+ 19inch viewsonic is back from repairs.. Viewsonic is taking forever, it's been 3 weeks now.
As soon as I hooked it up for him he's like "maybe instead of returning it you and I can work out some deal where you can have it" I told him no since I'm broke.. but I mentioned it to my parents and my mom said go for it.. So yeah I'm gonna talk to him tonight about it but the picture looks really nice. I haven't tested games on it since I want to ask him first before installing something on his pc and he's at work. But my photography looks a hella lot better on it ;)
