i got bored yesterday and started painting my old trusted dual optical. tell me what you think!

Nice...was it easy to take apart. I want to paint my intellimouse but im scared to F up the junk inside..also did you use platic paint/vinyl die or what?
 
i got it open pretty easy. as long as you dont turn it upside down your ok. i used a bit of putty to fill up the place where to logo used to be.sanded it. and then painted it with base paint. then sanded it again. then acrilic paint, purple and silver. the only thing i forgot was clear paint to make it "bling" a bit better.

i also soldered an additional blue led inside, it lights up the wheel, the picture degrades the brightness....

Nice job! You should definitelyclear coat it. As a proud owner of a Logitech Dual Optical mouse, its good to see other people who have the same mouse. I feel like a slacker now though... me thinks metallic blue would look snazzy on mine... :D
