Mounting MB upside down--disadvantages??

In considering a new computer build, I ran across a number of Lian Li cases that are by some standards, built "backwards," in that the motherboard mounts upside down so that the window is on the right side of the case.

Are there any negatives when mounting a mb upside down?

I am using the lian li v1000. everything is working fine besides I could mount a tower cpu hsf due to the separator between the psu and mb.
the only possible disadvantage maybe some of the psu power cable may not be long enough to the mb. But it is fixable.
 
I have heard that upside-down motherboard configurations do tend towards hotter graphics cards, since they're taking in warmer air from the top of the case (heat rises) rather than cooler air from the bottom, but the CPU may correspondingly be cooler?
 
The only real issue were older motherboards with heat pipes that didn't have a wick in them or whatever. They relied on gravity to bring the fluid back down or something.

I think someone even busted that myth, but hell I can't remember.

Basically, it's fine. Graphics card may be slightly warmer, but the CPU should be slightly cooler. Won't matter too much if you manage the wires nicely and have good air-flow.
