Hey everyone, so to keep this brief I am having a weird issue I never knew existed. I have played with the settings of this monitor and can not get it to display bright enough.
So the monitor I just got is the BenQ GW Series GW2765HT.

Most of the games I play end up being too dark with the brightest settings in-game and on the monitor not helping. Crysis 3, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Outlast 2... all of them when adjusting the brightness in-game say to adjust until the icon or picture is barely visible, well the icon/picture is never visible. On all the games I try... it's not always an issue but in dark areas the areas are too dark. The colors and brightness when doing literally anything else is fine, but when it comes to playing games it's too damn dark.
I suppose it could be a good thing if the contrast level is good which it very well might be, but in games such as Skyrim it's annoying because I don't like playing dark. I like playing with a little higher-than-average brightness.
Is this a design of the monitor itself? Should I look at getting a different monitor?
