I would like to monitor my CPU and GPU temps with some kind of front panel (nothing fancy), without running software. When I play games I like to shutdown programs I don't need. I was looking at a DigiDoc 5, because they used to be very popular a year ago, I don't know if they still are or not. Anyways I saw that It comes with a CD with software...that kinda turned me away.....Also the fact that I don't know if it shows temps in Farenhiet, which I would really prefer.

Any suggestions?

You shouldn't need software for the DigiDoc to just operate...I bet you could run it with just the sensors installed, and if not, there are other units like the DigiDic that just have temp sensors. Get one of those.
