i currently have an 18 inch dell 1800fp. I was wondering what might be a suitable upgrade for me. I want a larger resolution so 19" is out of the picture. Either 20" widescreen, 20" regular or a 24 inch (kinda big and expensive but if its worth it...). Do you guys have any ideas?

Oh yeah, i use it mostly for web browsing but sometimes i play CS:S and half life 2. Not every day though.
 
If you're not going to use it everyday I wouldn't blow the extra 300+ $$ on a 24"

You could goto a dell 2007WFP or the E228 ( cheapest solution that gives you largest but not absolute top end model )

If you don't want the "perfect" display.. id say go with the E228, or a Samsung 226BW
 
oh my budget is about 300 dollars. I think the 2007 sounds nice. now....widescreen or not??
 
Yeah its 16:10 Widescreen, 1680x1050.. its 329 I believe.

Although I'd consider the E207WFP (faster display.. not as good for color, but quicker response time.) And its like 100$ cheaper I believe.

I'd also consider the E228W since its around the mid 200 range.. but 2 inches larger.


All are 16:10 with 1680x1050 @60hz. If you want a budget model (Still very nice, just not the best, id go with the E228, since it is the Larger screen.)

yeah but why get the 22" if its the same res as the 20" ones. i like the 2007wfp
 
Some people like having the extra 2 inches. Makes them feel more of a man :).
