How do I disable software scaling? I want to test if my shimian 1440p monitor supports 720p natively, but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm using an AMD card but if possible I could grab my old 8600gts

CCC -> My Digital Flat-Panels -> Properties -> Uncheck enable GPU scaling.

That doesn't do anything, I can still run an absurd amount of resolution even when it is unchecked. I'm thinking that Windows does the scaling anyway.
