Monitor Randomly Won't Power On

My ASUS VW266H randomly won't power on. I opened my computer to see how dusty it was, I unplugged the power cable from the computer before first. I didn't touch the monitor or anything and the next thing I know it won't power on anymore. This monitor is huge and I've never done a RMA before and it seems like a lot of trouble. Anyway I can repair this? I bought the monitor on October 1st of this year.
 
There's no buzzing, flickering, or a power light at all? Could be a defective power adapter. I would RMA it asap before the warranty runs out.

No signs of electricity at all. I just went to the ASUS website and put in a RMA. I no longer have my receipt, but still have the box. I hope that won't be a problem.
 
I'm sad, this is the only monitor at 1920x1200 resolution in this size screen.
 
Actually my previous Viewsonic VX2640w was 1920x1200. Too bad I sold it to a friend already when I upgraded just this last week. :( However, I think you can still find them refurb for under 200.

EDIT: eCost.com still has them for 185.

I'm from Canada but I'll take a look at that monitor, thanks. This is the first LCD in the family that has ever failed on me. I only buy ASUS motherboards too. :(
 
I ended up going to buy the same monitor. I'll sell the RMA one when it comes back. I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled out tomorrow so I really need a monitor to keep me occupied and my mind off the pain. :(
