Hi all,
Sorry for creating another one of these threads but I can assure you I have googled for hours but have had no luck unfortunatly
I am currently waiting on the GD24HZ to make its way to England. This will be my gaming/3D monitor. I then have an old dell 1707fp which I use portrait for word etc.
Now I want to find a good monitor for my photoshop/video editing but I really dont have more then say £180 to spend on it so a Dell ultrasharp etc is out of the question. Size isn't really an issue as long as it has a decent rez and bigger then or equal to 20" then I don't mind.
2nd hand doesn't bother me either or refurbished as long as colour accuracy.
Now I was look at getting a CRT and found a LaCie Electron Blue II 22" for £115. Google checks on this montior shows it was once a proffesional mointor back in the day and still does a good job. It also does 2046 x 1536 @ 80 Hz which would be great for photo/video giving me alot of space. Problem is I heard that CRT's tend to die after a few years and this is a refurbished model. I am only 17 so the days of CRT are behind me
Basically is there a decent £180 LCD for photo/video or should i get the CRT
