monitor making buzz/whine noise, help!!!!

ok i've built a silent computer, and now the only things in the room making any noise at all are my 19inch crt nec multisync fe950+ monitor and those powersaving lightbulbs

well the monitor thing is really annoying, because i've spent hours trying to fix that in the past few days when i thought my silent comp was making the noise... I tried replugging the powercords around, but its still on. help?

oh and do lcds make noise?

ps: i've posted this in the displays forum too.. but that forum is really slow
