Monitor loses input

Every now and then (sometimes 4x per day, or once a week) my monitor, a Gateway EV700 with no previous problems, will lose all input to it and shut itself off. When I turn it back on the RGB "Self Test" screen comes up. Rebooting fixes the problem for the time being, only to do it again sometime later. I had recently installed an ATI AIW 9600 pro, MSI K7N2 Delta L mobo, 512 megs PC3200 DDR Ram, and a Thermaltake 480 PSU. I have the latest drivers installed for the Video Card. I loaded the BIOS and set the AGP slot to 4x instead of 8, with no success. Any ideas / help would be greatly appreciated.

I've noticed a lot of people having this problem with the aiw series. I thought I was the only one having that problem, so I RMA'ed my AIW 9700pro, which newegg doesn't sell anymore, got a refund and bought a 9800pro + Winfast TV2000XP Expert for the same price as the AIW. Hopefully this will fix the problem, but anyways it might be your card.

Thanks for the quick response. I've only read one other post about someone having the same problem but I have no idea where it is (I was fixing another problem at the time). Think I might just RMA the video card and pop in my old 64 meg nVidia and use the cash to upgrade my processor. :)
