Hello, here is my problem that I hope someone can help me fix.
My monitor, occasionaly(and its been happening more often) the screen starts to act up. When I start to move the mouse the screen will stop responding(the mouse will still work) but I can't click anything until the monitor seems to flash black then back to the windows screen where I'll have about another 10 seconds to do something before it has to do it again. This sympton can go on for hours and sometimes a day and I'm unable to even use my computer because of it. It randomly seems to wear off.
Here is what I have done. I have replaced monitors. It still flashes. I have uninstalled the videocards drivers and when those are uninstalled or when I boot into safemode this problem does not occur. I have reinstalled the monitor drivers and videocard drivers even trying older versions of the drivers. I have reinstalled DX9. I have run two different virus checkers and ad aware and cleaned whatever I have found. Still it persists.
My video card is a Geforce 4ti4400. Could this be the problem?
any other suggestions? I really would like help bad.
