I have a Samsung SyncMaster 955DF 19" flat screen CRT monitor and it works great most of the time except a lot of times the screen will be all wobbly and shaky and it really gets on my nerves... I don't know why it does this I have tried degaussing the monitor etc... nothing changes it still shakes randomly quite often. Any suggestions on what I should do?

1. Is your refresh rate set too high?
2. Is it close to your speakers or other magnets?

Refresh rate is at 75hz and there are two tiny speakers resting on top of the monitor.. They aren't plugged in however as I use headphones mostly.

Sounds to me like a ground loop, a common problem with audio equipment (results in a 60hz hum). Try plugging the monitor into diffrent outlets and see if that helps.

A crappy electric AC motor will do the same thing, is there a fan or air conditioner near. My fan will effect my monitor from over 2 feet away.

is there a fan close to your monitor? some cheap fans could produce that effect on your monitor
