I was wondering if you guys try to keep the top of your monitor at eye level like you're "supposed to" or not.

I've been recently toying with my height on my 2007WFP and its really different @ eye level.. which is the max of the 2007WFPs height due to me being tall.

I noticed in the display thread everyones monitors seem to be pretty low.. anyone here use high setups?

To each their own, but I notice a lot more eye strain if my screen is placed too high or low.

I keep mine with the top of the screen at eye level.

I keep my 2007WFP just slightly lower than most non-adjustable monitors are by default.

Keeping the top of the monitor at eye level seems strange to me. I keep my eyes in the center of mine and it seems perfect.

I keep my eyes in the center. Moving the monitor higher makes it seem larger, though.

I just noticed that as well :-P

I think though that when you have it below eye level (like I always used to have it, the entire way down) it makes the monitor feel really small.

i think the 'problem' gets magnified with larger screens, 24" and above.
just got my 2407 yesterday and it feels really strange to have the top of the monitor level with my eyes.

my Westinghouse lvm37w3 sits right in the middle of my field of vision, @ 2.5ft from my noggin. IT'S FREAKING GREAT!
