Hey!,

So I have been searching amidst this forums for the answer to this, but since the technology seems to advance rapidly in this genre (especially within prices), I figured I'd start a new thread with hopes of some fresh insights in this topic.
I wish I could go on out and buy the ideal NEC monitor, but my budget just reaches as far as $400-500, which might raise as time moves on, but I need a monitor fairly quickly.

So which monitor is the best bang for the buck? Color/Contrast and overall quality wise.
Is it possible to avoid input lags, and maintain high ratio of picture quality within my price range?

Any help is much appreciated !

Thanks guys

Awww, nobody?

Would gaming compatible monitors be eligible for heavy graphic works too? And vice versa?

Just need some suggestions of what kind of monitor i should be looking at in that price range, $400 - $500 ?

Biges, wow! Thanks man, that seems like a great monitor! The only downside it seems to have is a vibrancy issue, specially with the reds? The wide gamut bothers some people, but what i really want to know is how nitpicky people really are about these issues. Might go by some local stores and see if I can judge for myself.

Overall it's seems great though, I guess i'll have to be patient and wait for the budget to grow.

Thanks for the heads up!
More input is always welcome,

Thanks guys

As it is a wide gamut monitor, you will get stronger reds and greens, but not in programs with colour profile support.

Or you can settle for a 22" screen and want standarg gamut (sRGB), Dell 2209WA is considered a very good choice as it has an e-IPS panel. I forgot to mention LP2475w has an H-IPS panel.
