hey guys, i'm looking for a decent monitor for my xbox 360 so i can play in HD, i've got about £200 to spend, also what else do i need to use it?

For that price, you'll need to search a bit.

The Xbox 360 supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p over component, but I doubt you'll find a monitor with component inputs that does 1:1 pixel mapping for that price range.

If you buy the Xbox 360 VGA cable, the Xbox will dispaly the following resolutions:
640x480 (standard 480p)
848x480 (widescreen 480p)
1024x768 (standard)
1280x720 (720p, widescreen)
1280x768 (widescreen)
1280x1024 (standard)
1360x768 (widescreen)
1920x1080 (1080p, widescreen)

You should look for LCD monitors having native resolutions EXACTLY equivalent to one of those resolutions. Any resolution 720p and above that is widescreen is high-definition. Good luck.

A good place to start would be the "search this forum" button at the top and find the 2 dozen or so threads with the exact same title. ;)
