i was watching a movie on my 23" Viewsonic last night and noticed my CRT (used for itunes, utorrent, cpuz, gpuz, stickies, and coretemp) flickering every ~15 seconds. i think it was pretty regular but i didnt time it. just brushed it off as some CRT problem, although its never happened in 3+ years of using that monitor. i got my RMAd 4850x2 back yesterday, so i think something with using that triggered it. when i was using both with my 8600GT there was never a problem.
so fast forward to today, im at school on my eePC netbook and the display started to flicker! every ~15 seconds. can anyone explain to me why this happens and what might have triggered it? i just changed my eeePC from 60Hz to 65Hz and it seems to have stopped the flickering. ill try adjusting the refresh rate on my CRT when i get home and hopefully that will fix it. i wa just wondering what might have caused this, on 2 different computers, on one crt and one lcd... within 24 hours. :/ thanks.
