I recently upgraded a driver for my ATi 9600. (P4 1.4 GHz, 512 RDRAM, mobo… dunno, it’s a dell computer). Everything is fine, but every time after windows boots up, monitor goes completely black for fraction of a second. Is this a problem? It only does that once immediately after it boots up. I have no problems, everything works fine. It’s just that it never happened before. Thanks.

I don't think it is anything to worry about.

My monitor used to turn off after I logged on to Windows. I just lived with it. When it came time to reinstall Windows, the problem simply went away. There are many reasons why this could happen, but if it isn't a problem.......well it isn't a problem!
