Question is this:
5 year old optiquest v95.
Just using monitor controls (100% brightness 100% contrast) it's very dim.
If I go into drivers and up the brightness and gamma, it has the ability to get so bright you can't look at it.
While I am waiting for my new video card to come I am using an old Cirrus Logic pci video card with no way to adjust brightness through drivers. This has caused me to realize I need to do something. Really don't want to have to adjust it through drivers except for maybe a little low setting on the digital vibrance. Can't buy new monitor just yet as my new motherboard and video card drained me. I am brave enough to open this thing up if somebody can tell me where I can adjust brightness from inside the case.
