Ok, well I Got a power cable out of an old server, and its got all angled molex connectors on it, but its got a weird configuration, I just want to make sure it is fine, and wont fry anything if i use it. It has 2 molex inputs from the power suply and 8 molex outputs, I am not the best with wiring and didn't know if this would cause a problem. I looked in the Faq, but could not find anyting relevent to this situation.

|-------INPUT

|-------INPUT

|------Output (x8)

Thanks

my guess is the 2 inputs are there so you dont melt any wires due to too heavy of a load being drawn from just one connector. I cant see why using it would have any problems.

sounds right to me it works better than having a single bulky cable comming out.
