Modular Power Supplies

Does anyone have a good reccomendation for modular power supplies? I want to get rid of some of the clutter.

You can see the cable mess in the bottom right that I am trying to get rid of. I have seen some reviews but wanted to know what works in the real world.

Stay away from Ultra psus, they carry a bad rep and are unreliable under load. Having 2 cpus can't help the matter. OCZ and antec also make modular power supplies. If you could post some pictures of your rig without the side panels we could make some reccomendations on how to cleanup your current wiring.
 
Wouldn't be hard, get some 4 pin panel mount connectors and have some fun soldering. The ATX plug would be a bitch, though.
 
In theory it wouldn't be hard, but that's a lot of wires. It could be slow going making absolutely sure everything is wired up exactly as it should be, especially the ATX connector. My attention span is so short for that type of monotonous work that it would take me weeks to get it done.

As for the original question, you might have better luck in the PSU forum.
 
Actually its single CPU.. The profile is generated from my dxdiag so the HyperThreading throws it off. I will try and post up a pic of my wire mess that I have going on later tonight. Thanks for the suggestions.

Does the ATX need to be modular? I think it's safe to say he'll be keeping it at all times.
 
I made my power supply fully modular except not the atx. When are you ever going to use the molex plugs and no ATX? I also made all the cables black so it helped to make it look cleaner. I'd say it's a pretty good option if you've got the time, took me about 3 hours at a 'methodical' pace.. :)

Antec, OCZ and TTGI all three offer quality modular power supplies. I would get an Antec Neopower or OCZ Modstream.

So you can plug in ATX cables of different lengths, that's why. Sucks to have 10" of slack where you don't need it.
 
I never thought about the part about controlling the length of the actual ATX cable. Thanks for the info
