well, for the second time now, i've seen people mention putting heavier gauge wires on peltier modules to increase performance.
what i would like to know is how much, if any difference would such a mod be likely to make in my system?
i run a 226 watt pelt and an 80 watt pelt, supplied by a meanwell 320 watt dedicated 12 volt supply.
the peltier tails are thin, however the tails do not get hot to the touch while running.
i have to run additional lengths of 14 gauge wire from the supply, to the peltier tails, to make things reach, and have soldered the wires together, and put marrettes on top for insulation.
the soldered connections do not get hot either.
my CPU runs 17 C under load, with 13 x 200 @ 1.95 volts, and drops to about -20 C under load at stock speeds.
