Posted pictures as I went on another forum under the name of Yogi. Figured I'd post them here as well in case some don't visit the other.
Anyway. The final product you see isn't exactly final, the acrylic hold down is painted black now.... looks tons better. It fits Very well with the theme of a rig I'm building but standing alone it looks akward on the counter.
JB-Welding the metal on:
Primer over and over again:
Painted and sanded a few times:
Mounting (sitting on my glasses' case due to long bolts):
Basicly imagine the frosted acrylic painted black and there you go. It's mounted up right now, might get a pic later if anybody requests it. Silent as can be, with the pump running and nothing else I can seriously put my head withen a few inches and very barely notice it's running.
But there you are, my mod to contribute.
