EDIT: I forgot to introduce myself, please excuse me. :D

I am Ryan, I live in B'ham AL. This is my first post but I have been around looking for a while. I have experience with modding, but mostly with xbox's. I'm descent with a dremel and other tools but not the most creative person in the world, which is why I am here, to get suggestions.

Ok so I am working on a new mod project and was wanting some help with supplies and suggestions. Here are the specs of the system going in the case if it matters.

X2 3800+
2gb Corsair XMS
2x7900GTO
1x74gb raptor
2x250gb 7200.10
SATA Combo drive
OCZ Powerstream 520w

The case is a Black Ultra Aluminus

So far I have painted the inside semi-flat black, and changed the side fan to a 120mm. The goal of this case is quiet and nice looking without being too over the top. The psu has been resleaved with uv green cables with black heatshrink. I'm going to polish the Ultra bay cover to a mirror finish.

I like everything on it so far but it still feels like something is missing, so any suggestion on what to add to it or what to change would be apreciated.

Last but not least, I am having a hard time finding a good set of UV green SATA cables. I would prefer cables with a right angle on one end and be 10" and 18" long.

Kinda hard to visualize without a pic. but mirror finish? UV? :(

svc is pretty much where I get all my cables, very reasonable prices, although shipping isn't as good as it used to be.

also, sup fellow b'ham h'er (although I'm at auburn now)

+1 for SVC, and I have used Xoxide alot in the past as well.
It is really hard for us to help w/o any pics, but I can say you made a great choice in the Ultra case, great moddability.

Post up some pics of what you've done so far, and I'm sure you'll get alot of responses and opinions.

I know it sounds wierd, but only the aluminum 5.25" bay cover that comes on the case is polished.

As for the cables, I found some nice UV green 18" sataII cables on ebay. Got 3 for 14 shipped.

Where in b'ham are you from?
